This Privacy Policy describes Our policies and procedures on the collection, use and disclosure of Your information when You use the Service and tells You about Your privacy rights and how the law protects You.

The Mathemagicians App only stores information needed by this service and that information is only stored on the device. There is very minimal information asked about the user by the app. The user is expected to create one or more screen names to allow one or more users to interact with the app. The application stores information related to progress level of each username with respect to the app on the device. No data leaves the device as we have no backend server or database to communicate with the app on your device at this time. No information that can identify a user is requested by the app

Interpretation

The words of which the initial letter is capitalized have meanings defined under the following conditions. The following definitions shall have the same meaning regardless of whether they appear in singular or in plural.

For the purposes of this Privacy Policy:

  • Account means a unique account created for You to access our Service or parts of our Service.

  • Application means the software program provided by the Company downloaded by You on any electronic device, named Mathemagicians

While using this app, We ask You to provide Us with a usernames(s) and grade(s) that help identify You within the app. Personally identifiable information may include, but is not limited to:

  • Usage Data
  • Grade level

Usage Data

Usage Data is collected automatically when using the Service.

Usage Data collected when service is active is only related to levels of progress within the service or the service usage. If the app crashes, some diagnostic data related to the app may be shared with us.

Grade Level

This is stored along with the user name for rendering grade appropriate math challenge expansion in the future by this service

Use of Your Personal Data

We do not use your personal data for any purpose other than to identify a username within the app to retrieve username specific level progression

Sharing of personal information:

  • We do not share your personal information with anyone or any other business

Retention of Your Personal Data

The personal data collected related to the level progression within the app is only stored on the device and is stored per username as every user’s progress within the app will vary. When a username is deleted in the app, the data related to that user is deleted too.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update Our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will do so by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.

You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Changes to this Privacy Policy are effective when they are posted on this page.

When visitors subscribe to our site, subscription information provided is stored for providing periodic updates about our services.

Sharing of personal information:

  • We do not share your personal information with anyone or any other business
  • This service does not require any email addresses, however if you subscribed to our maillist through our website your email addresses and subscription information is stored on Mailchimp which is a web service we use for communication
  • With Affiliates: We currently do not have any affiliates with whom we share any information collected through this service

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. Website administrators can also see and edit that information. You can unsubscribe any time.

What rights you have over your data

If you have subscribed on this site, or have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data we hold about you, including any data you have provided to us.
